ORIGINAL WARTIME ERA GERMAN E. LEITZ WETZLAR MARSEPT 7X50 POWER BINOCULARS

This is a local estate found vintage German Wartime Era E. Leitz Wetzlar Marsept 7x50 Binoculars.  This set of binoculars is in very good used condition (outside) with some wear to the original outside finish in spots and optics are about excellent condition (inside).  The view through this glass is extremely CRISP, on both sides!  The binoculars work fine and the optics are very clear and bright, no detracting lens scratches observed, if any very tiny, original sealant looks undisturbed, and set is in very good collimation (both tubes point to same distant object / No Double Vision or Eye Strain) .  Focusing is silky smooth.  Both eyecups are perfect.  Nothing rattles inside when you shake the binoculars.  No Case or Strap.  One very tiny floating spec inside the right eyepiece which rotates as you turn the right focus ring.  Other than that, optics are exc to exc plus condition on both sides.  Optics appear to be Coated.  There is no range finder crosshairs in the optics.  The binoculars are marked E. Leitz Wetzlar Marsept 7x50.  This Model was produced about 1932 to 1962.  The Serial Number of this set is within 5,000 of a very well Marked German WW2 Set with Full German Eagle and Wreath which I also own. 

This Set has Coated Lenses.  According to my research, E. Leitz Wetzlar began coating the lens of binoculars in the late 1930's.  I think these are wartime producion, but they could have been made just after WW2.  A very nice fully usable set of binoculars right out of the box with a very crisp image on each side.
