US Army War Helmet Vintage Old Antique Combat

A total of 6 helmets and hats.

The first one is a heavy solid one piece army helmet which is crimped over all the way around on the inside and outside edge.

The chin strap is complete and has a ball which hooks into hooks on the other strap.

The two straps appear to be stamped or riveted to the inside of the helmet.

There is no cushion for the head like there is on the other ones.

Next is a helmet with writing on the inside strap but very hard to read.

The edges of the helmet are a little worn and have the insignia “This we'll defend " on one side with a large A and a 5 underneath it on the other side with blue stickers in between.

The next hat is very unusual and has international harvester logo on it.

It is made of a very light but durable material and is very old.

The inside lining is made of leather and adjusts to what ever size head.

It is riveted in 10 different places and is tightened using a string. 

I don’t know what kind the other three are but they are identical except for the writing on the netting cushion on the inside.

The first one says Liner Soldier’s Steel Helmet M.1 19 March 69 DSA???-69 -???? 43. 2^nd one –

Liner Soldiers Steel Helmet “Combat” Type 1 49 270CT72 USA 100-79-C-0582 3^rd one-Liner Soldiers Steel Helmet Combat Type ??????

One Helmet has about 1 ½ “crack that barely is noticeable but thought I better mention it.

I am puzzled that the liner says they are steel because I am not sure what they are made of but a magnet does not attract to these 3.
