THIS IS AN AUCTION... FOR AN ORIGINAL HEADPHONE SET AS USED BY RADIOMEN WITH THE U.S. ARMY SIGNAL CORPS. DURING MILITARY OPERATIONS DURING WWII. ****NO RESERVE****

DESCRIPTION: This is a standard headphone set with two receiver ear pieces. Rubber is  there but one side separated. They are marked"MC-162-A". The Receiver is marked"R-14" and the head set is marked HB-7". back of receiver says" Murdock Mfg. Co. U.S. Army Signal Corps". Looks like radar O'Reilly pulled away from radio too fast cause the headphone JACK is torn from the cord end(easy to replace). Top piece has nice LEATHER stitched cover.
If you collect WWII Radio stuff this might be helpful for spare parts to to rebuild. If you do an impression for reenacting/living history, this is a nice set for the display.
