Set of 2 Thimbleberries Quilted Christmas Gift Bags-NEW

Up for auction are two Thimbleberries Soft-Sculptured Gift Bags.  These are handmade and two different sizes.  The first one is red, blue and white 3 1/2 squares.  It has a santa claus on the front and on the back.  It is 11 inches wide and 18 inches tall.  The second bag is blue/black/tan and white with 4 1/2 squares and measures 15 inches wide and 24 inches tall.  It has three snowflakes on the front and three on the back.  The bags have appliqued designs on them.  These are appliqued on the bag with clear thread and then with black button-hole stitching. The bags are lined with fabric (the santa bag has blue/white print fabric inside and the snowflake bag has blue print fabric inside).  The small bag has a thin interfacing and the larger bag has a thin batting.  They both have a nice form to them.  There is quilting around the appliqued items, both on the front and back.  The santa bag has a small blue checked drawstring and upper binding strip (and the snowflake bag has medium blue checked drawstringss and upper binding strip).  

These bags are perfect for Christmas decorating.  They can also be used as GO GREEN Christmas or all-occasion gift bags.  These can be used as you would a paper christmas bag, stuffed with tissue paper without having to wrap up the items.  Then these can be used year after year to save money and save the environment.
