Mother-Of-Pearl (MOP) or Abalone shell was among the first materials used by ancient craftsmen for decorative purposes. That mother-of-pearl and other shells were highly valued by many cultures around the world. Especially in the Chinese furniture like the lacquered chairs, beds, stools, tables, wardrobes, chests and finely painted screens which inlaid with the Mother-Of-Pearl.

This grips using the same technique as Pearl Inlay in Chinese furniture. They select only the excellent high-grade pearl shell that show rainbow/fire(reflect the light) pieces. Then cut into myriads of small precise pieces and lay it on the wooden grips, fill it with filler, sand and polish it to shape. After that they draw and paint the grips in different beautiful and distinctly modern designs and coat it with the clear PVC. All the process took about 1 week to get a pair of grips done.

It really hard to show you the great "fire" from this grips on the photos, but the one who know the great art and price of Chineese furniture will know that, this pieces going to be the great pieces of Art on your pistol. The photos do not do justice to the beauty of these unique grips. What I can do just try to show you the photos that taken by sunrise, it show up some Fire. It do Fire up under the moonlight/lowlight condition too.

All grips crafts with the screws and alignment holes to ensure the proper fit.
