VINTAGE,  GREAT CONDITION, TANDY AM, FM, FM STEREO RADIO HEAD PHONES

You are bidding on a Working, Vintage, Tandy (Radio Shack) Model No. 12-188 AM, FM, FM Stereo, Radio-Head Phones in very good condition. Naturally, they are wireless and cordless – and are powered by 3 -- AAA, 1.5-Volt batteries readily available. Please see Pictures. The colors and shades of the actual phones are without color difference.

The adjustable head band and the earphones are Black and the balance of the set is Almond with Black-colored control knobs – (See Pictures). The Left and Right phones are Marked for identification. All of the controls are easy accessible – they include -- Left Side – Power ON/OFF,  Stereo Balance for Left and Right Ear and on the Right Side – Volume Control, AM, FM, FM Stereo Switch, and AM, FM Tuning Dial. The battery compartment which is on the Left Side is very clean (No Corrosion or Dirt) and holds the 3 AAA Batteries. The + Mark is colored Red Dot for convenience of indication of battery direction placement. 

The tuning control has to be turned very slowly because stations are close together. And, the Volume control should be turned down so as not to harm your ears; then adjusted as required.  As with most vintage items the age of the item should be considered and transistor technology of the time when searching for stations, but does not take away from the radio phones capability. It is Surprisingly good, however.

The starting bid is less than the original cost and there is no Reserve. This is a nice collector item of something from the past.
