In this digital photographic age it's encouraging to see that millions of photographers around the world have been able to lobby a multinational imaging corporation (i.e. Fujifilm Corporation) to start manufacturing an old favourite film (i.e. Fuji Velvia 50) again and reintroduce a trusted emulsion to the photography world again to the welcome delight of literally millions of photographers around the world! 

These are 10 rolls of Fuji's most famous enhanced (i.e. boosted) colour film-the original FUJI VELVIA 50 in 120 size MEDIUM FORMAT with each roll of film separately wrapped in foil packaging and packaged in its own box clearly showing its EXACT expiry date of: 01/2011 so you can be be SURE of the FRESHNESS and QUALITY of each roll of film.

This film was introduced worldwide in August 1990 and has become world famous ever since because of its extraordinarily enhanced (i.e. boosted) colour, ultra sharpness & extremely fine grain (RMS: 9). This film set the original standards for enhanced colour film and has become the standard which all other enhanced films have been measured against ever since then. The sad fact that Fuji discontinued manufacturing Velvia 50 since April 2006 (a big mistake as it turns out) is now obsolete as Fuji have now recommenced manufacturing this all time popular classic film again. <p>

This film, as previously mentioned, was the first professional enhanced colour transparency film and became the standard by which all these films are now judged and is considered by many to be superior to its successor Velvia 100F even though Velvia 50 has a speed of 50 ISO. It is a classic film that has become the favourite of many millions of photographers mainly due to its colour characteristics similar to velvet smoothness and the razor sharpness of the best photographic media which is how the name VELVIA came to be (a combination of velvet & media). It is this combination that has endeared this film to literally millions of photographers since its introduction in 1990.

In short this is arguably THE BEST ENHANCED COLOUR TRANSPARENCY  (SLIDE)  FILM THAT FUJI HAS EVER MADE. And that's saying something as the current crop of film emulsions from both Fuji and Kodak are the best that have ever been manufactured! Fuji VELVIA 50 is perfect for landscapes, scenery, especially travel photography where it itensifies and dramatises the colours and any photography requiring boosted or enhanced colours (obviously not portraits as its one main drawback is that it does not reproduce skin tones very well mainly because it was not designed to be a portrait film).

To sum up: stunning enhanced colour, razor sharpness and extremely fine grain (RMS:9). Arguably you cannot get a better enhanced colour transparency film than this.
