 Antique 1808 Portsmouth, New Hampshire Christian religion history book. "An Account of the Several Religious Societies in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, from their First Establishment, and of The Ministers of each, to the First of January, 1805," Timothy Alden, Junior, Member of the Massachusetts Historical Society, Boston, printed by Munroe, Francis, and Parker, Shakspeare's Head, No. 4 Cornhill, 1808. 40 pages, with several blank fly leafs in the front and back of book. Book measures about 8 1/2 X 5 1/4 inches. Covers are detached from body of book. Paper coverings of covers are worn. Some fly leafs are loose or attached to covers. The name "John Christie" is written in ink on the page before the title page - see photo, and also on the page after the title page. Interior pages have light foxing and some darkening.
