Old Tin Toy Cars - Fire Chief and Cops !!!!

 I don't have any date  of manufacture for these
old tin cars, but I remember such toys for sale
for a nickel in 1949.  I remember such little toy
 cars being made in Japan, but they were made
from recycled beer cans because you could turn
them upside-down and read the beer brands.

 These little cars looks like it may have been made
from a beer can where the brand name was on the
outside and covered by the painted detail.
 It has a little whistle on the back.

One is the "Fire Chief's " car and the other is marked
"GM", it's the Cops, but it could also be "Government
Motors"!
