And you can always cover the sides Very good condition ***PLEASE Take a Peek at my other items-a
little bit of everything for everyone. (Just click on “See other Items”). To save my site, hit seller ID
name and then add to favorite sellers or hit save this seller. ***IMPORTANT NOTE-I research items
before listing and try very hard to do an accurate description the best that i
can. Sometimes I make mistakes. If you purchase an item that you believe is not
what I’ve described, you will get a full refund. Just ask me-very simple. it is
never ever my intention to mislead Buyers. Simply send me a note-and
before bidding, it is more than ok to question me on an item or items. I’m not
an expert on anything-Ok maybe cats-but I’m not selling mine (much to my
husband’s chagrin, angst, utter dismay-you get the picture). TIP*Do Not store leather or fur items
(jackets, purses) in plastic. Keep in separate cloth bags (pillow case, etc.)
to prolong life. Same with dolls. I have added a few things for the Holiday Season that I don’t
usually carry such as clothes, hats and Christmas decorations. Take a look! ·
My grading system – If it’s new, I will say NEW, with or without tags ·
Excellent condition – Means “like new” condition ·
Very Good or Nice condition, again everything is great on the item. ·
Good condition usually applies to vintage items that may have a reasonable amount
of usage (since it’s an older item) but still a decent item. ·
If there are cracks, rips, chips, wearing anywhere on any item, I will say
so and try to include pictures. However besides this flaw, it may still be in
Very good or good condition. So please read description carefully. ·
I switch back and forth from Excellent to Very Good out of boredom. If you
have a better grading system, let me know. Maybe a number system? **I know you
don’t want to think about it but the holidays will be here before you know it.
Think about the gift you should take to someone going through all the effort of
making Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe a nice tray, basket or decorative candle
(unless they have pets, not a good idea). Christmas shopping (groan) - Get it
done now while selections are still good.
Buy something entirely different for someone that they just wouldn’t
expect from you! That quirky relative or the one living in the past, that you
never know what to buy them-buy some old 45 records (if they have a player), a vintage
piece of jewelry, clothing or just something odd to fit their personality
(there is certainly lots to choose from). Try to stay with only a few Sellers
and save on shipping. For your Moms and
Dads, instead of struggling to find the one perfect gift, try giving them a stocking or basket filled
with little things you know they’ll love. The unexpected guests that happen to
show up, keep on hand some trinket boxes, something from another country or perhaps
some little doo-dad you think is cute. Try giving a unique Christmas item that they’ll treasure for
years to come. The best part
is you don’t have to fight the crowds at the mall! For Your
Lovely Children-The little
ones are fun and easy to shop
for! The teenagers????The ones that are bored with life (HA) Fill a basket with
all the little things that are easy because you know the stuff they need and
want. Start giving them either a Christmas item (ornament of some kind) or
start your own tradition of something you can buy for them (or maybe you
already own it) each year so that they can pass it on to their children. I
always like to buy a game that the whole family can play because you know how
teenagers LOVE family game night (do we have
to?) For the big things, there are many eBay stores that will give gift
certificates. If not, make your own for a certain amount and let them pick out
their own gift on Christmas morning or ahead of time so they’ll have it on
Christmas morning. For the computer inclined, there are lots of great techy,
game and book stores. For the jock, the possibilities are endless. Into cars,
clothes, the same. And for your daughters, whom everything you buy for her
brings a heavy sigh and an “eeewww”, let her go crazy with girly sites, She’ll
think you’re the Coolest, EVER!
If they’re in college, find a couple of stores close by to school that they
like, and get gift certificates. It’s not as much fun for us parents to give gift
certificates but today’s kids want to pick out their own things and I guess
it’s better than the blank stare you get and the “Um, thanks”. No matter what
the age, everyone gets excited on Christmas morning. It’s a joyous time for
many reasons. Don’t forget to stop and count your blessings, one being the
wonderful children you do have. AND GUYS-this is for you! We know how you
struggle with gift giving. It doesn’t have to be extravagant, just put a little
thought behind it. Mom’s deserve something-think about the things she likes to
collect (just look at her shelves) or that handbag she’s been carrying around
for 20 years, replace it. Or go for something entirely “not her”. Is she “earthy”, try a new gardening tool or
organic lotions. Books are always a good gift. Does she just love
“girly” things-try looking under Beauty, trinkets, jewelry, etc. ASK her
about her childhood, what are her fondest memories? Her favorite doll or
plaything? (Plus you’ll learn just a little more about her). If you just don’t know, perfume is always
good. For your wives and girlfriends-Think back to when you were first dating,
what kind of things really made her smile? A favorite book, something from a
place you’ve traveled to together. It’s just one day and she deserves something
just for getting through the holidays. Or just buy her something because it’s
Tuesday. This is not a criticism of men by any means, just some helpful hints. In fact, you guys work very hard and you
deserve something thoughtful too. We see you looking through that car, fishing,
golf, travel magazine. Ladies, pay attention, let’s not buy something we
want him to have, let’s buy something he wants to have. Unless he’s really into fashion, men don’t
care about clothes. Or give him the old “if you had money to spend on
yourself”, what would you buy? Other than the Corvette or Big Screen TV, he
might just tell you something you don’t know about him, something that he’s
always wanted to have . Or take him shopping in the mall one day. What are the
things that he stops to look at? And it
seems everyone has a hobby or a collection of some kind, add to it! AND FINALLY-For Animal Lovers-If you
can’t figure out what to buy for the human, buy for their pets! We love to
pamper our “babies” and they’ll love that you do too. There are so many things to choose from. Even
try a combination basket for both the person and their pet. (Unless they have a
very small dog and they actually need it for warmth, please do not buy clothes
for animals-eeeewww!). If you know without a doubt that they’d love it and
provide a loving and caring home, the shelters are overflowing this time of
year. Pick an older cat or dog-they are
always harder to place and have already developed a nice personality. You also don’t have to go through the
chewing/clawing, house breaking routine. Kittens and puppies go quick. Just
make sure you go to a reputable place. One that has treated and cared well for
the animals. It’s easy to find out. Check them out online or ask around. Make
sure you get their health history . Or
just treat yourself this year to a new member of the family. MEOW! There are a zillion places to shop on
eBay so start looking now. You never know, you just might find that perfect
gift! To make things a little easier through
the holidays , I will have a return policy. If it states no returns, just ask. Please ask all questions before bidding
- refunds at my discretion. If I have not described the item accurately , then
you will receive a refund. Please contact me instead of eBay. If you
happen to know additional information on an item that I’ve listed, please
share. I love to hear from you and learn all I can about these items. It is
because of you that I am able to spot more items when I’m out hunting for these
treasures. I have heard from a lot of knowledgeable people and I really do
appreciate it. Payment to be received within 7 days after closing of auction.
Please try to adhere to this. If you’ve
run into a problem and can’t pay within the 7 day period, let me know immediately so we can work something out. I am not interested in leaving bad feedback
for anyone and would hope you’ll extend the same courtesy. (Bad feedback just
hurts all involved-messy business) I would like to resolve any problems that
arise. I want you happy with your items. If I do not hear from you within 14
days, item will be relisted. I'm easy to
work with, just keep in touch
please. I strive
for 5 star service. If you’re happy with your item, please leave
a 5 star rating. This affects me as directly as a Seller. As I said, shipping
rates are what the Postal Service charge. You may think that 4.8 is a good
score but it’s really not in eBay’s rating system. This may seem like a lot of
blah, blah, blah, but it’s really important to sellers. If you have suggestions to make me a better Seller, please let
me know. *FYI-As of Oct 16th, I
started using online shipping (Yeah!) so now there will be a tracking number
for each of you. I ship the
cheapest way possible. Sometimes Priority (2-5 days), mostly Parcel Post (2-10).
These are approximate time frames set by
USPS. Sometimes it takes longer. Also if
there is a delay in getting your items, please look at the date sent, not the date received. I ship
out the next if not the same day as paid. The delay is in the postal delivery. However,
please let me know if it’s over 2 weeks. I
keep a list for the Postal Service. Shipping costs are outrageous and can’t be
helped. Again, I charge what the Post Office charges me. (In fact, I don’t
think that should even be one of the stars, nobody’s happy with the shipping
costs!) There is a discount on shipping
for most multiple items. (It really depends on the weight). Some items, due to
the fragility of them, will have to be sent separately. I go to the Post Office every day except
Saturday. If you do not
receive your items in a reasonable time period, please contact me immediately so I can follow up with the Post
Office. No
International shipping for the most part. Case- by-case basis. Must have good
feedback. Please ask. **Will
ship to Canada I try really hard to list a variety of quality
items for every taste. If you have questions or requests, let me know. I spend
many, many hours looking and searching for unique items. Take a look at my other items and keep
checking back. Thanks so much for looking! *And a special
note to all of you repeat customers. Thank you so much for coming back! And to
all of you buyers sending me little notes after receiving your items, I
appreciate it. I enjoy hearing from all of you! In all honesty, it’s what makes
selling fun! ****YET ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: We Sellers try to be exact
and as accommodating as possible. Sometimes you will receive your item and
either the post office has done damage or maybe you just feel it’s not up to
snuff. I know the instant feeling of disappointment but please take a minute
before leaving BAD feedback in the heat of the moment. Contact us immediately-I
think you’ll find, for the most part, the problem can be solved easily. |
