Vintage Tin Toy Truck Fire Firetruck metal old antique

Ladder extends out six feet and retracts on a hand crank.

A separate hand crank allows for four actual different height positions.

The front of the truck detaches from back.

The truck and trailer is 31 in. long. The ladder unit also pivots.

The white paint on the ladders is flaking off but other than that this toy appears as if it was hardly ever played with.

There is something which is driven by gears attached to the front axle which is supposed to do something but the gears are not lined up.

My guess is that it runs a siren. Everything is metal except for tires, windshield, light on top, and steering wheel.

I didn’t do any cleaning so I am sure it will shine up very nicely.

I have seen similar toys like this but never one in such good shape.
