HP Pavilion Entertainment PC DV6000 DV6171CL RG267UA

This has been a great unit but went dead on my son while on the internet. All indications are that the motherboard is defective so if you can replace the motherboard you'll have a very nice unit. Everything was working fine until it went dead. The unit powers on with no video, Leds light, CD read Led flickers and goes out , then the unit reboots within 15 seconds and starts the process all over again.

The only thing that was replaced since it was new was the power supply due to the dog chewing the cord. The battery still holds a charge but I'm not sure how long and only can tell you he used it on battery power often.

The unit will come with the 120GB Hard drive that I pulled and reinstalled after I formatted it. There is no operating system. HP did not provide a recovery CD and my son never made one but HP told me one could be ordered from them.
