You are bidding on a Thomas The Tank Engine Roundhouse and Yard.
There are two seperate pieces here... the Roundhouse and the connecting Yard piece. The Roundhouse measures approximately 20" x 10" and the Yard measures approximately 9" x 7". These pieces are made of wood... wood is popular with these train sets because its nostalgic and looks neat, but it also knicks and chips with play... that is part of the appeal I guess. These pieces are not being sold as new or in "mint" condition. They are being sold in played with condition... they have knicks and chips but still have plenty of life and will bring joy to a child. They are being sold as is... so please, ask questions and request more pictures if needed.

On Nov-10-09 at 19:03:13 PST, seller added the following information:Just to be clear... since this auction ends in about 14 hours and no one has asked questions or asked for more pictures. The green doors, and side lithos (with the bricks and windows) look pretty nice. But this piece has a large painted roof (poor design in my opinion) that at one point had gotten pretty dinged up... so I touched it up with grey paint and it looks ok. Honestly, the roof looks like it could be easily removed as its held together with screws. Then it could be sanded and repainted in order to look like new again. The base is natural color and is scratched and chipped but still looks and plays ok. The yard piece has a water spot which is clearly visable in the picture... don't bid on this and then claim you didn't notice it... I can't promise you, but I would quess that this spot would sand out fairly easily. So, you can either accept it as is, knowing its not new and you're not paying new price and also knowing that your child is going to play with it an ding it up even more because that's what kids do to toys... or with some effort you could get it to look pretty close to new again then give it to your child to ding it up because that's what kids do to toys. Just please, don't buy this and then demand to return it because it shows wear. Trust us... it is what it is... and if you want to return it we won't refund your shipping cost... it weighs too much for us to have to cover the shipping to you and back because you didn't take the time to read, look and ask... I don't want this to sound snotty, because we're not... its just that a while back we sold something that clearly showed and was described to have playwear and a "snipper" who placed their first bid with 10 seconds left tried to tell us it was our fault that they didn't know the toy was played with because they didn't have time to look over the listing. Sometimes even the patience of a Christian can be tested.
