A VERY RARE Worcester teabowl and saucer, C.1770, almost certainly painted by JAMES GILES. Although I am not expert enough to be 100% sure about the great Giles, I can tell it is DEFINITELY NOT typically factory decorated. Eg. look at those typical Giles bright green leaves and the red flowers. PERFECT CONDITION, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or restorations to either piece. I have seen lesser examples of Giles teabowls sold for above £1,500 in good sales. This is part of a COMPLETE tea service I may be listing if interested. Obviously, any 18th century factory service is VERY RARE.

I will accept Paypal due to demand, but please email me first..
