Grumman Tracker in the Argentine Navy Aviation history

This is the issue 26 of the Serie Aeronava edited by Jorge Nuñez Padin in Argentina and tells the story of the Grumman S-2A, S-2F, S-2E Tracker and the S-2T Turbo Tracker in service with the Argentine Naval Aviation. They were the only carrier borne ASW airplane in the country, operating ince the early sixties on board the ARA Independencia aircraft carrier and later on the ARA 25 de Mayo, including operations of the Malvinas / Falklands war. In the nineties the last five examples of S-2E were modernized into S-2T Turbo Tracker and operated briefly on the Brazilian carriers NAeL Minas Gerais and NAe Sao Paulo (Ex French carrier Foch).
