This is an old antique brass school bell.  It is a little darker or more tarnished than the picture shows.  The picture also makes it look like there is a crack but there isn't.  Must be I finally have a good camera because you can't hardly find it in person.  It has a black wooden handle and is in good solid condition.  It stands about 7 1/2" tall.
