Hi there and thank you for visiting my auctions. Today I am offering one of my primitive stitcheries. This one will be perfect for any of your primitive homes. They are made from muslin that has been aged for that old time worn look we love to use for our homes. This sampler is housed in a nice wooden frame. This one reads " TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS " and was done with brown. A large twig vine stitched with brown for the stems and leaves.... starbursts in pretty green with red french knot centers. In the corner; a solidly stitched mustard star. So pretty to add among your other samplers. What a special sampler; nice and primitively simple!! Would make the perfect gift for just about anyone on your list! This wooden frame was painted black and then distressed for that old look. Frame piece measures 6 1/4 x 8 1/4. Use these stitcheries in any room of your primitive home. They look great popped into baskets, wreaths, displays.. etc. They also make wonderful gifts for your family and friends. All my stitcheries have been inspired my popular verses and saying that can be found in numerous places. The designs of my samplers are my own and are one of a kind pieces. I use different frames, colors of floss, change the designs to insure that no two are exactly the same. They all come to you framed and will be signed and dated.
