Very inexpensive and brand new

This new 20 mm Huygenian eyepiece was supplied by Surplus Shed. This eyepiece will give good low to medium to power views. This design was the standard on f/15 refractors for many years. These will do a good job with telescopes of high focal ratio but are not great on fast telescopes. These eyepieces are excellent for observing the sun when using eyepiece projection. You should never use a more complex eyepiece for solar projection. This is a very economical eyepiece.

All of our eyepieces are threaded for standard filters. They fit Meade, Orion, Celestron, OWL, and most other filters for 1.25" eyepieces. These are supplied with bottom caps.

This eyepiece fits the standard 1-1/4" (31.75 mm) eyepiece focus mount. If your telescope takes smaller eyepieces, it will not fit.

We are currently selling hundreds of our great eyepieces and barlows per month. Everyone has been very happy with them. Now you can choose from one or more of these at great prices. Now that we are importing these directly, we are passing along a great price because of our lower cost. Regardless of the brand, essentially all eyepieces sold by all manufacturers are now being made in China and Taiwan. The question is not why our prices are so inexpensive, it is why the major companies sell essentially the same product at a much higher price. Guess who is really paying for full-page ads in Astronomy Magazine and Sky and Telescope ?
