Big old cardboard putz house brush trees - snowman

Up for auction is a very large house witha thick layer of flaky, coconut-like coating. The house, garage and fencing are all tight on their base. The snowman is also tight, and as you can see on the picture, he needs some cleaning. The sponge tree on the base is attached, but a bit loose. "Made in Japan" in an oval is stamped on the bottom. Windows and front door are all in place. This is a wonderful old house done in attractive colors. It measures 6" X 3 1/2" X 5 1/4". There is a large hole (which makes me believe it is pre-1946) in the back to insert a light, and a matching round insert to cover the hole if you choose. I'm not sure, could this make it a candy container? I'm including two very old bottle brush trees with red wood bases. They are in good condition and the tallest measures 6 3/4" tall. (See photo ).
