THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR A SECTION OF AN ANTIQUE POST OFFICE WALL. THE TYPE OF PIECE IS ESTIMATED TO HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN THE 1880'S THROUGH THE 1910'S.

TE PIECE MEASURES 51 1/2" HIGH AND 23 1/2"WIDE.

THE TOP, WHICH CONTAINS 16 HINGED DOORS, IS 12" DEEP. THE BOTTOM HAS 8 DRAWERS AND THEY ARE 14" DEEP. THE DOORS, WHICH HAVE THE ORIGINAL BEVELED GLASS IN PERFECT CONDITION , ARE 6" BY 5 1/2". THE 8 DRAWERS ARE 11" BY 6".

THE FRONTS ARE BRASS AND THE SIDES ARE WOOD. CHECK THE PHOTOS TO SEE THE DOVETAIL CORNERS.

THIS IS A HEAVY PIECE AND MUST BE PICKED UP AT A SPINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS LOCATION.

THIS PIECE WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO A MUSEUM OR HISTORICAL DISPLAY OR IN YOUR HOME A UNIQUE OFFICE ORGANIZER OR OPENING FOR A WINE STORAGE AREA.
