The Notevision^® XR-30X offers brilliant high-resolution images - with 2300 ANSI Lumens brightness, 2200:1 contrast ratio and XGA native resolution, but capable of SXGA resolution. Its HDCP compliant DVI-D input ensures virtually noise-free images from digital sources, while the DLP^® display technology delivers superior color quality, brightness and reliability. Ultra-quiet cooling fans along with a new high efficiency lamp make the projector an ideal choice for extended-use operation. And a full complement of inputs and outputs (including RGB-loop through, stereo variable audio line-output and RS-232C), means the compact and lightweight (6.4 lb.) projector is ideal not only for "portable" use but for higher-end integration.

Improving upon its predecessor in the HD department, this new model Sharp projector comes equipped to output a resolution up to a full 1080i, instead of the previous 1035i capability.  Also the bulb wattage has decreased to only 200 watts, with the quality and brightness/contrast amounts remaining as crisp and clean as ever.  What allows this projector to be so advanced in the optics department is its Digital Visual Interface, (DVI), a new feature for Sharp multimedia projectors.  This new digital interface allows for a more secure digital connection (DVI-D) between equipment resulting in a higher quality of image.
