You don't have to pay a lot for a good quality strap.

These Brand New  Nylon NATO straps are a full 12" long with 17 adjustment holes so as to fit almost any wrist. Buckles and keepers are a high grade stainless steel. These straps are manufactured in Europe with the best materials available.
 
I have been wearing straps like these for years and gotten excellent service from them. My favorites are the Bond and Bond style straps. I think they look good, plus they're softer than the solid colored ones.

 You can pay more, but you won't get a better strap.
