The second side is much larger at 12-1/8” wide x 11-1/4” long and 1-1/2” deep and will hold your notebooks, calculator, envelopes, and even small books. Both internal sections are lined in protective green felt. Underneath the lap desk is a non-removable foam bead filled pillow, providing solid support for your lap desk and comfort for your lap. The cotton canvas pillow should be spot cleaned only. This is no flimsy, lightweight veneer-covered piece. It’s made of solid wood and weighs in at almost five pounds.
