 1880's Triple Irish Chain ANTIQUE QUILT ~NICE RED!

This ELEGANT cotton 1880's triple Irish chain quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with nice solid turkey red accents.

It measures 68" X 76" and is in very good condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.

There are grid designs quilted throughout at 9 stitches to the inch.

The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same solid red used in the interior, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.

The WONDERFUL EARLY FABRICS and NICE SOLID RED make this nineteenth century CLASSIC stand out!
