Aoshima Samurai Model Kit Diorama Set - 51mm - RARE

This special set was released a decade after the initial run of the Samurai series. It actually contains 3 of the original sets from the range: Set #1, which includes 1 fully armored samurai swordsman and 3 fully armored samurai fighting with spear and bladed pole-armed weapons; Set #3, which includes 4 lightly armored samurai archers; and Set #4, which includes 4 lightly armored samurai fighting with spears and bladed pole-armed weapons. In addition there is a solid plastic display base if you want to make a diorama, as well as terrain supplies and a cardboard backdrop. The artwork shown in our photo is a reproduction of the color guide and instructional diagrams from the set. While only10 of the figures are shown in the color, all 12 are shown in the diagrams. Each Aoshima set includes a group of multi-piece figures, and several also contain accessories and larger scenic settings. This box includes full step-by-step assembly diagrams and detailed color painting guides for decoration. As the Era of the Samurai lasted from the Middle Ages through the middle of the 19th Century, this kit can be used over a span of 800 years.
