Here, Crate & Barrel’s 16 1/2-inch-tall rattan ottoman looks airy and light but is sturdy enough to use as a stool.Brand new dark brown/black colored rattan ottoman was originally priced at $139.  I also have bamboo/honey colored ones listed also. 

 This could be used as a side table with or without a glass top or a stool.  It has four metal feet and has a steel frame underneath, which can't be seen when displayed.  Not suitable for outdoor use, but great to have several of these scattered around your home for extra seating.
