It will power itself from your netbook power supply via the USB ports and needs No Heavy or Bulky AC/DC Adapters. Included with this fantastic external CD-ROM drive are two USB cables. One is for the transfer of information from your drive to your netbook with the other to power your external drive from a separate USB port on your netbook. Warranty Returns&Refunds :
  • Standard Warranty: Includes a Standard warranty as stated in the description from the date of purchase covering manufacturer defects such as dead-on-arrival (DOA) which is within 7 days. If the item is DOA(dead on arrival), the customer must contact us within seven (7) days of receipt to request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. Customer has 7 days to inspect the product & report DOA. After 7 days item can only be exchanged.
    (Defective units returned will be tested before sending a replacement or refund.So pls be sure of what you said.)

    The shipping and handling charges are non-refundable under any circumstance.
