A superb series of four legal tender coins has been issued by the Bank of Sierra Leone to emphasize the determination on the part of one African nation to preserve the unique and irreplaceable wildlife which is part of the continent's great riches and heritage.
These new coins feature four of the extraordinary species that make up just one part of Africa's wonderful diversity of wildlife. Illustrated in superb detail on the reverse of the new coin are the Camel, Chimpanze, Impala and Lion.
