1927-1933 MARINE CORPS WAR IN NICARAGUA

Nearly 500 pages, in two combined volumes, on 8-1/2x11-inch enlarged format, with comb binding. It includes many explicit entries, with names, about patrols, battles, and skirmises that resulted in deaths and woundings of U.S. Marines during combat with Nicaraguan rebel (Sandinistas) forces. Also added as Appendices was mention of the two Medal of Honor winners.

Many illustrations were added to an otherwise un-illustrated book, except for charts and diagrams. (See examples above.)

For historians and the general student of U. S. Marine Corps involvements, there doesn't seem to be any other book like this on the market or at least one that is easily available through used book shops. An original version. which is small size, tightly bound, and difficult to keep open and read, was offered on the Internet recently for $750.

This book is also a valuable reference for family members of those Marines who fought in Nicaragua between 1927-33.
