HOW ZONE SHIPPING WORKS

If your order will ship via freight pallet then understanding ZONE SHIPPING is very important. First you should determine the ZONE for your shipping destination by looking at this chart of the United States and Canada...

Now, for all products in the Room Doctor eBay Store that ship via freight pallet we offer FREE SHIPPING to any ZONE 1 location. However, all customers in ZONE 2 must call us or e-mail us at ebay@roomdoctor.com for a freight quote BEFORE completing a purchase online: 866-766-6362. We will calculate the additional shipping for you, if any.

If you are e-mailing us for a freight quote: Include your Name and Shipping ZIP CODE, the NAME / TITLE of the product(s) you are inquiring about AND any other products that you want us to add to the freight pallet. We will get back to you in short order with pricing and instructions.

SHIPPING LEAD TIME

All Freight Orders shipping from our PA warehouses is generally 5 to 10 business days after the day you place your order, but varies by product. Keep in mind that these are large items, but we will do everything we can to get your shipment to you in a timely manner. Room Doctor reserves the right to choose the freight carrier to ensure the best possible service for our customers.

IN-TRANSIT TIME

This is the time it takes for your products to get to you after they are shipped from our PA facilities. In-Transit Time can vary from 1-6 business days for freight-shipped orders, depending on your location.

If you're in Canada and do not live within 100 miles of the border, expect longer in-transit times. Canadians are in ZONE 2 and must call in for freight quotes: 800-755-8660 ext#202 or ext#212. We can walk you through any shipping or time frame concerns you may have at that time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FREIGHT DELIVERIES

Shipping IS our business, and we take great pride in our ability to ship products quickly and accurately to your home or office. Please carefully review all the information below and call in to place your order. We only ship to the Continental U.S. and Canada. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska at this time.

IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING FREIGHT DELIVERIES

How Does Freight Delivery Work?

• All freight shipments are curbside deliveries, and arrive via tractor-trailer.
• You are responsible for helping unload your items to the curbside, and fully responsible for getting your items onto your property from the curbside.
• If you do not help the driver unload the truck, lift-gate service will be required at an additional charge.

What is required?

• You must provide a phone number w/ your shipping/billing info when you order.
• You must be present to accept delivery of your items.
• Shipping destination must be able to accommodate an 18-wheel tractor-trailer.
• We recommend that you have someone standing by to assist you with getting items from the curbside and onto your property.

After You Order

• You will receive an Order Confirmation E-mail from Room Doctor, which you must respond to in order to finalize your order.
• You will receive a Shipping Confirmation E-mail with additional information once your items ship.

Other Important Information

• Alternate phone numbers are also helpful, as you may need to be contacted during normal business hours.
• If your residence cannot be accessed by tractor-trailer, notify us immediately.
• Your carrier will need to contact you to set up the delivery date/time.
• Inside delivery, meaning just inside your front door may be available. Inside Delivery is $55. Contact us for additional details.

RETURN POLICIES AND REFUNDS

If your product is damaged or defective:

Please DO NOT LEAVE US NEGATIVE FEEDBACK without giving us a chance to resolve the problem. Our highly trained Customer Service Staff is dedicated to serving you! Notify us immediately by calling (800) 755-8660 ext# 203 so our Customer Service Staff can assess the extent of the damage/defect and promptly correct the problem. It is at the discretion of our Customer Service Staff to determine whether a replacement part or product is necessary. Any product damages incurred by misuse or abuse will not be covered under our warranty. If our Customer Service Staff determines that a part or product must be returned due to shipping damage or manufacturer's defects, replacements will be shipped to you at no additional charge.

If your product is in sound and resalable condition and you wish to return it:

A full refund minus shipping costs both ways will be honored if you simply don't want the product(s). A 15% restocking fee may be assessed on some products. You must first notify us within 14 Calendar Days of your receipt of the product(s) that you intend to return by calling 866-RoomDoc. Our Customer Service Staff will guide you through the return process and answer any questions you may have.

Regarding futon frames and other wood products: Must be securely re-boxed and taped for return shipment. Refunds will only be processed after the product(s) return to our manufacturing facility. Refunds are contingent upon product inspection.

Regarding futon mattresses. Not all futon mattresses are returnable due to the way they are packaged, so do not remove futon from package if you wish to return it. Please call (800) 755-8660 ext# 203 for more specific instructions.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you cancel your order before it ships, we will honor a full refund; no questions asked. If you decide to cancel your order after it has already shipped from our facilities, a full refund will be issued minus shipping and handling charges both ways.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

We proudly stand behind the quality and utility of all our products and always guarantee your satisfaction. We offer a 10-Year Full Warranty against manufacturer's defects on all pine wood products we manufacture. Products sold by but not manufactured by Room Doctor are subject to the rules and regulations stated in the manufacturer's warranty included with the product at time of sale. Damages caused by misuse or abuse of the product(s) are not covered by warranty. Warranties are not transferrable and are only honored for the original owner. However, replacement parts for pine products we manufacture can be purchased upon request at any time. Cost varies by part. Please call 1-800-755-8660 ext# 203 to order replacement parts.
