Master sculptor and painter Jim Shore draws on his southern country upbringing to create wonderfully detailed collections in a variety of media. Brightly crafted, down to earth, every charming piece has heart warming appeal. With his diverse background and experience in engineering, silver and goldsmithing, stained glass making, and stone and wood carving, Jim Shore has become an accomplished artist. He has created portraits for the governments of both North and South Carolina, and is the creator of the popular pencil Santa line he changed the look of Santa in the early 1990s. Self taught artist Jim Shore uses his knowledge of folk art to create a new expression of American country decor. His eye for detail and strong design sense are given shape in the Heartwood Creek collection. Jim Shore's folksy Heartwood Creek line includes a blizzard of well-dressed snowmen and Santas. Each Jim Shore figure features hand painted details with a distressed-wood look. Made of solid stone resin. Item is brand new with original box. We are a store. All items are new in mint condition unless stated otherwise above. All items come in their original packaging with all paperwork. We will inspect items to confirm they are mint or upon request. Pick Ups: We do welcome pick ups at our store after the item has been purchased thru EBay. Please call or email to confirm the item is ready. Returns: If you wish to return an item you purchased from FairyTales-Inc, you must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item. Shipping fees will not be refunded. Buyer is responsible for fees incurred to return items to FairyTales-Inc. Credit for the item will not be issued until FairyTales-Inc receives the item in its original condition it was received. We will not accept items that are returned with out notice. All returns must have a FairyTales-Inc return Authorization number on the box. Damages caused in shipping must be report to FairyTales-inc with in 3 days after the item is received. FairyTales-Inc will issue a full refund or replace the item after the shipping claim has been issued. Damages: If you receive a damaged item, please contact us with in 3 days after the item is received. We will replace the item immediately if in stock along with placing a claim with the shipping carrier or the manufacturer of the item. DO NOT ship this item back to us. We will issue a shipping call tag for the item to be picked up or destroyed. We will not accept items returned without notice. If we do not have the item, buyer is welcome to exchange the item for another of equal value. Or we will issue a full refund on the damaged item. 2009 Holiday Shipping: For the 2009 Christmas Holiday, Orders must be placed and paid for by 2:00 PM on Monday, December 14, 2009, to be received by Thursday, December 24, 2009 in the Continental United States. Orders will be shipped via UPS unless requested otherwise. Shipping is NOT guaranteed due to unforeseen weather conditions and shipping carriers requirements. Orders shipping International via the USPS for the 2009 Christmas Holiday must be placed and paid for by 2:00 PM on Monday, November 31, 2009 to be received Thursday, December 24, 2009. We will happily expedite shipping (next day, second day or three day select) with an additional charge to the buyer. We can not offer combined shipping on this item.
