This top quality piece is numbered 946 and features a charming depiction of a teacher sitting on the floor with a student. You can see the blackboard, several other books, and the caption reads: “Teachers make little ones count”. It is a charming image with pastel colors against a white background. The image was engraved in the porcelain before the piece was fired. The teacher has a lavender dress; the student has a blue top. Their shoes are brown and the blackboard is black and white. Some of the spines of the books have some color too. This outstanding piece of art is oval in shape with a diameter of 5”. The piece will proudly hang on a wall with the original rawhide rope as you can see in the photo. The condition is excellent, there are no chips, crazing, repairs, or cracks.
