Description: You are bidding on a really nice piece of hand turned pottery. This vase was acquired at an estate auction and the artist was unknown by the family. The bottom of the piece is marked “Nease” in hand drawn letters that were drawn in the wet clay before it was fired. The piece is spherical in shape with a diameter of 5”. The piece proudly stands 5-1/2” tall. The short neck is only about an inch long and narrows to about ¼” on the inside. The piece is a nice sand color with blue dripped down around the neck and from the bottom rib to the base is a mix of blue hues. This piece is heavy weighing almost two pounds. This piece will make a perfect gift. The vase will look great on a bookshelf, desk, mantle, or in a display cabinet, maybe with dried flowers or one very special flower. We think the beauty is in its design and can just be admired for itself. The condition is excellent, there are no chips, crazing, repairs, or cracks.
