Please understand that most of the items we sell are old, & as such, demonstrate characteristics of age, which may include loose fabric threads, scratches around the base, bubbles, crazing, pattern & shape irregularities, straw marks or mold marks, & pontils that are not highly ground are unfinished and may have ash in them. Victorian hand blown glass was produced in dirty conditions, & frequently has ash or dirt spots. All of these features are expected to occur in antiques & collectibles, we will not accept a return on an item because it has these features. We will as accurately as we can, describe any chips, cracks or other damage that would impact the value of the piece, so you can bid accordingly.
