First Edition. 6 1/2" x 9 1/4", [xiii+455+(16 color plates)]-page royal blue cloth hardcover with a paste-on color illustration on the front board, embossed gilt lettering on front board and spine, b/w pictorial end papers and 8 color plates including frontispiece. Ex-library with the usual markings, and light wear to cover corners and spine else clean and tight, a very nice copy.
