Payment is expected within 3 days and not later than 7 days. 

You may choose to pay right away, or wait for me to send an invoice.  If you are paying for multiple items, please wait for an invoice to be sure that the shipping will be correct. 

If you are waiting for the end of one of my auctions to pay for multiple items at once, please contact me within 3 days of winning your first item to tell me why you are waiting to send payment.  If there is any reason to delay payment, please let me know so that I will know why I have not received it. 

I will make every attempt to contact you if payment is not received in 7 days before I report a non-payment.

• I ship your item or items in the lightest weight packaging that is permitted to pack it safely.  I don't just grab a big box and fill it up with extra weight instead of getting a box with a better fit. 

• I use padded envelopes and the plastic type envelopes whenever appropriate to reduce shipping costs.

• Sometimes I will use recycled shipping supplies because it is a wise thing to do.

• I ship as soon as possible after I receive your cleared payment.  I ship the same day if time allows, or the next day, depending on what time of day I receive your payment and see the e-mail.  If I receive your payment on the weekend or a holiday, then it is shipped the next business day.  I do not usually take more than one business day to ship your item.  If there is any reason to delay shipment, I will contact you right away.

• I charge just a little extra for handling to cover expenses related to packaging and shipping my items.  (labels, paper for packing slips, ink for printing them, gas to go to the PO or UPS store, packaging supplies, etc.)  SOMETIMES I SPEND A LOT OF TIME TRYING TO GET A PACKAGE TO  WEIGH LIGHTLY SO I DON'T HAVE TO CHARGE SO MUCH TO SHIP IT.  I SPEND THIS TIME BEFORE I MAKE MY LISTING SO THAT I CAN KNOW HOW MUCH IT WEIGHS, BUT THEN WHEN I'M READY TO SHIP IT, I MAY HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME PROCESS TO FIND A BOX THAT WEIGHS IN THE SAME AS WHEN I MADE THE LISTING.  This is all part of the handling.

• I ALWAYS PAY FOR SHIPPING CONFIRMATION, SO YOU WILL HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER TO CHECK THE SHIPMENT.  THIS CHARGE IS INCLUDED IN THE S&H TOO.

• If I have more than one item that you would like to buy, I can combine shipping as long as you pay for all of the items at once in one invoice. Please contact me to tell me what items you want to buy together. Then I can see what kind of a package the combined items need to go in, see how much it weighs, and give you a combined shipping/handling rate. This can be done any time prior to making your payment.

• If an item is very valuable, I will insure it and add it to the shipping.  The shipping & handling cost in the listing will include the insurance that I have added, and I will tell you about it in the listing details.  If I do not mention insurance, then it is not insured.

• I've never had an item damaged in shipment.  I have moved several times in my life, and have shipped many items in my life.  I do know how to package something.  I will use bubble wrap, popcorn, styrofoam, cardboard, newspaper, or whatever is appropriate for the item or items. 

• Listed shipping charges are for US addresses only.  Please see my section toward the end for International Bidders/Buyers

I sell my items "as is" and generally do not accept returns.  I try my best to fully describe every item in complete detail.

HOWEVER, if I have grossly misrepresented an item, PLEASE contact me about a refund, return, or exchange BEFORE you leave negative feedback and I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOU.

Media items cannot be returned because it is too easy to just make a copy.  This includes cassette tapes, CDs, videos, DVDs, books, magazines, my original recipe cards as well as sewing patterns.

If I ever fail to package an item properly so that it can be shipped safely, I will give a refund as long as you take pictures of the damage inside the package, with pictures of the package and packaging, and send them to me by e-mail.  The pictures will need to show that it was not packed properly.

Please use the "Ask seller a question" link at the top of the listing page and I will answer as quick as possible.  If I'm online when you send your question, I will answer right away.

I generally check my e-mail early mornings, Monday through Saturday and very late at night most every night. (I'm not always on the computer during the day.) 

Detailed Seller Ratings

• Please leave 5 stars for communication.  You should receive notices to acknowledge your bid, to tell you that you won the item, to notify you that your payment was sent/received, and another one to let you know that your item was shipped.  If you didn't contact me with any questions, it is only fair to give me 5 stars for communication.

• Please leave 5 stars for item description.    If your item was not as you were expecting, won't you please re-read my description carefully to be sure that you didn't overlook something? 

• Please leave 5 stars for shipping time.  The day that I ship your item is on your shipping label.  You will find that I shipped it the day I received your payment, or the next business day. If your payment is made on a weekend or a holiday, your item was shipped the first business day after your payment cleared PayPal. Once your package leaves my hands, I have no control over how much time it is in transit to you.  Please RATE MY SHIPPING TIME on the day that I shipped your item, and please don't take stars away from me for something that I have no control over. 

• Please leave 5 stars for shipping and handling charges.  I have a small handling charge to cover the expenses incurred when I ship your item(s) to you, and I cannot charge less than the actual shipping amount.  If you have any questions about the shipping amount, please ask before you bid or click the Buy It Now button.

I have shipped to Canada, UK, and France without any problems.  If you live in one of those countries, I can ship to you.  If you live in another country, please ask me if I will ship to you. 

You will need to contact me for shipping rates before you place your bid so you will know how much to expect for shipping & handling.

Customs charges, if there are any, are NOT included in the shipping and handling charges.  If import duties, taxes and customs charges are added, it is when it gets to your country.  Not everything gets charged for customs, but I don't know the laws and I cannot tell you if you will have to pay or not.  Please check with your country's customs office for information on any additional charges you may or may not have to pay when it gets there.
