We are pleased to offer for your consideration a 96 page hardcover counted cross stitch pattern book, DEPT. 56 - THE HERITAGE VILLAGE COLLECTION CROSS STITCH PATTERNS - THE CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY SERIES, published by Department 56, Inc., no date found in book (but eBay's information lists it as 1996). This book was a library book, but other than the library sticker on the outside binding and the stickers and stamps on the front and back cover pages, it is like brand new. No other markings, no torn or missing pages, no writing.   It contains written information and instructions, charted graphs, fabric requirements, DMC and Anchor embroidery thread charts, full-page, full-color photographs of the finished projects, and full-page, full-color photographs of vintage household items.  It even includes a short nostalgic description of each building and an area to write your own personal notes.  This book includes fifteen (15) different patterns of vintage buildings and shops, copies of Department 56's porcelain buildings, along with color photos of the actual porcelain buildings.
