There is no side-seam block, very thoughtful in design by any standards, why ? because  you will not see the lines and stripes cut off at any point, yes the lines are continously smooth all the way around the shorts. Also the rise are lycra lined, so are the hem. Got the look alright but the shorts needs to stand up for the performance test too, no rashing is a MUST ....
