The Boutique line retails at 3 to 4 times more than the hotel line. The quality materials, finish, durability and feel justifies this.

SIZING: This only applies to the bottom sheet, as the upper sheets will be tucked in under the bed

FITTED BOTTOM SHEET: With an elastic, sizing needs to be as exact as possible.
FLAT BOTTOM SHEET: No Elastic (European Style), excess is tucked under mattress. Frette Flat King will fit both Regular (Eastern) King and California King beds.

These measurements below are for FITTED BOTTOM SHEETS only (Elastic on Bottom sheet). Manufacturer's sizes vary slightly, however these dimensions serve as a good representation of what should be expected.

As Frette is a European company (Italy), most of the Bed Sets we are offering have FLAT bottom Sheets. This means there is no elastic as the sheets need to be tucked under the mattress anyway and is not meant to be sized to the exact specifications of your mattress. When the item we are offering states "FLAT BOTTOM SHEET", you will notice that the measurements are longer than what you would require for the appropriate mattress.

QUALITY: THREAD COUNT is the most important place to start. Thread count is the number of threads per square inch of fabric. Assuming you are looking for the softest and most durable sheet, the higher thread count will always be the best. Look for it to be at least 200 or higher. Frette BOUTIQUE LINE is 600 Thread Count.

GRADES OF COTTON: There are different grades of cotton, which is determined by the length of its staple or fiber. The longer the staple, the more luxurious and durable the grade of cotton. There are two levels above the basic grade of cotton: EGYPTIAN cotton is the highest quality, providing the softest, most luxurious fabric and feel. 100% cotton sheets will be the softest, most breathable and most comfortable as they are an all natural fiber.

Frette uses only Egyptian, Two Ply, Long Staple Cotton. Double Mercurized: Definition- cotton thread that has been treated with sodium hydroxide to shrink it and increase its luster and affinity for dye. Iimmersed in a special bath with the fibers perfectly wound and under tension. Mercerized cotton fibers absorb more perspiration than any other fiber and dry readily, feeling pleasant against the skin.

Frette items have undergone this process twice. This means very high grade cotton fabrics with unique characteristics of brilliance, softness, silky hand, solid dyes and, above all, for maintaining these characteristics over time.
