Rare 1960 FIRST EDITION, Stated "Sixteenth Printing", on both the bottom of the dustjacket as well as on the copyright page. ~ TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD ~ by Harper Lee, the classic story about how conscience is instilled in 2 children, Scout and Jem Finch;  how it operates in their father, Atticus, a lawyer appointed to defend a negro on a rape charge; and how conscience grows in their small Alabama town.  Book is in very good complete condition with tight binding, no rips and no names or previous owner's bookplate.  Small amount of wear to the front and back cover boards (can see in picture 3), dustjacket is bottom price clipped and there is some wear to the dustjacket edges and corners. Some light soiling seen to edges of pages, seen when book is closed.  Great Collectible!! Also have listed an ex-library 26th printing of the same book.
