DOMESTIC - Shipping is usually by USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, generally within 2 business days. The shipping calculator determines cost by location, buyers living closer are charged less than those at a greater distance. PLEASE NOTE- USPS priority mail rates are measured in increments of pounds not onces, therefore a package weighing 1.1 pounds is charged for 2 pounds.
INTERNATIONAL- Postage costs available using calculator at or near actual cost plus a S/H fee. We make every effort to keep costs lower by shipping via First Class which is the cheapest rate but postal regulations limit first class to overall size, length x widgth x height, of 36 inches. We accept PayPal in U.S. funds only. International ONLY ships once a week USUALLY on Wednesday. First Class provides no tracking or proof of delivery and therefore PROOF OF PURCHASE WILL BE REGARDED AS PROOF OF DELIVERY FOR FIRST CLASS MAIL. Due to prior bad experience with their postal service we will not ship to Italy.
SHIPPING DISCOUNT- We offer shipping discounts, when practical, of 50% on each additional item, starting with the highest amount first, and it is limited to a 3 day period.
INSURANCE- Insurance is no longer available except when specifically requested by buyer.
SEALED ITEMS- are sold with the assumption they are complete but we cannot be responsible for missing parts since there is no way to check without opening the kit. Therefore sealed items are sold on an as-is basis.
CONDITION- most of our auctions are for vintage items and as such may have price or inventory stickers. These will be described only if they are significant or unusual. To protect ourselves from the few unscrupulous people who buy kits to raid them for parts and then claim the parts were missing, we must say all items are sold AS IS. Our guarantee means the item has been inspected and found to be complete.
FEEDBACK- Feedback is a two way street, positive feedback will be given only after feedback is received.
