Up for auction is a very nice 2004 Strat in Sage Green. I think this is one of the nicest and somewhat hard to find colors. This guitar looks and plays great. I also own an American standard Strat and when I played them side by side the Mexican Strat fell short in pickup output and tone. I was curious as to why the Japanese models bring more money. Obviously the electronics are at least one reason. I bought these pickups on ebay for around $50 just to check it out. I was very impressed. Comparing the two now it's hard to tell the difference. I actually think the MIJ pickups are a little warmer. I am including the original pickups as well. I will ship the guitar in a nice padded Fender gig bag. Sorry no international shipping.
