1776-1976 U.S. BICENTENNIAL SILVER PROOF 3-COIN SET

**Commemorate the Bicentennial with this 1976 Bicentennial Silver Proof Set.**

This three piece set that features coins that were produced especially for our nations 200th Anniversary of Independence in 1976. The coins feature symbols from the Revolutionary War. The Quarter features the colonial drummer, the Half Dollar features Independence Hall, and the Dollar features the Liberty Bell and Moon design. These proof condition coins are struck from 40% silver and come set into a protective patriotic booklet.

Product Features:

Proof coins - proof coins are unlike regular U.S. coins, because they undergo a specialized minting process, which begins by manually feeding burnished silver coin blanks into presses fitted with special dies. The coin is struck multiple times so the softly frosted, yet detailed images seem to float above a mirror-like field

40% silver - many of these silver coins have been melted down for their silver value

Dual-dated with 1776-1976 - these are the first dual-dated

coins in U.S. history
