Here is a BIG MIXED LOT OF 1950s & 60s CONCEPT SPACECRAFT MODEL KIT BUILT-UPS & PARTS, PLUS A FEW OTHER MODEL ITEMS. This is from a collection of model spacecraft I was selling here during the summer, I haven't had time to deal with the built-ups & parts till now. I'll try to identify what I can. I see parts from:
ORIGINAL 1955 STROMBECKER "DISNEY SATELLITE LAUNCHER", assembled main rocket & base in clear plastic, paper interior details inside, 1 support piece, some glue marks on clear rocket, paper on base poor
REISSUE OF ABOVE STROMBECKER KIT FROM GLENCOE, molded in silver, unassembled, APPEARS TO BE A COMPLETE KIT WITH DECALS, but no instructions to compare to, no box
ORIGINAL 1958 LINBERG "TRANSPORT ROCKET", TOP SECTION & 2 LOWER SECTION FINS, UNPAINTED WHITE PLASTIC
ORIGINAL 1958 STROMBECKER "CONVAIR MANNED OBSERVATIONAL SATELLITE", 1 END SECTION OF 4 TANKS CONNECTED TO LONG SECTION. long section is broken off
ORIGINAL 1958 STROMBECKER "CONVAIR MANNED LUNAR RECONNAISSANCE VEHICLE", LARGE TANK SECTION & MAIN CABIN SECTION WITH A CLEAR BUBBLE DOME ON TOP SECTION THAT SLIDES OFF TO REVEAL AN INTERIOR
ORIGINAL 1958 LINDBERG "U.S. MOON SHIP", BOTTOM SECTION OF THE 3 MAIN SECTIONS, molded in silver, is missing 1 of the clear red rocket pieces at the bottom, top smaller round section has a big broken piece out of it.
ORIGINAL 1959 MONOGRAM "SPACE TAXI", ROUND GLOBE BASE, 1 SPACEMAN FIGURE, PARTS FOR THE END CAGES, 2 big end pieces are OK, other sections are broken
ORIGINAL 1960s MPC "SPACE STATION", BUILT & PARTIALLY PAINTED KIT, MAY BE PARTS FROM SECOND KIT? CHROME TREE WITH MANY PARTS STILL ON IT, WRECKED DECAL SHEET HAS KIT NUMER: 9001-07
SEVERAL 1950S-60S ROCKET SECTION, MOST INCOMPLETE, some have glue marks & some have broken pieces, but may be of use, also there is a wood balsa hand-carved rocket section- in poor condition
MANY UNIDENTIFIED ROCKET PIECES, AN EARLY AURORA MODELS BASE MOLDED IN CLEAR PLASTIC
AN UNKNOWN LUNAR MODULE, MOLDED IN SILVER, BUT OUTSIDE WAS SPRAY PAINTED FLAT GREEN, ALL PARTS ON THE 2 TREES, APPEARS COMPLETE
AN UNKNOWN VINTAGE MILITARY MOBILE ROCKET LAUNCHER, 1/32 SCALE? SEPARATE WHITE ROCKET HAS "US ARMY" MOLDED ON BOTH SIDES, appears complete, unpainted, tiny moving hinge piece at back of base piece broken, easy to fix or just glue in place
