This lamp is made of wood and is very solid. It is colored a brown and gold coloring, with subtle highlights. The lamp measures almost 27" tall from the base to the top of the decorative shade holder. The base measures just over 7" wide and has nice detailed scrolling as can be seen in the pics. The lamp has a very decorative body that tapers up from the bottom and gets wider in the center, and then has a decorative center, then tapers in again towards the top. This lamp looks to be hand carved with wonderful raised petal-like embelishments. The top of the lamp has two lamp bulb holders with a pull chain on each side. The electrical wiring is all original and is in frayed condition and would need to be replaced to be safe, not a difficult repair at all. This lamp comes with an old lamp shade, off white in color, dusty and dirty, typical wear as can be expected with such an old piece. The shade measures 8" tall and 14" wide at the bottom and taper to 12" at the top. This is a very nice antique lamp, one that would make any collection better and would look very nice atop your vintage table. The shipping quote includes the shade.
