These chimes produce a "breaking glass" sound, much louder and sharper sounding than hollow tubes, or smaller diameter bars.

A very nice, high quality set of BRAND NEW MADE IN AMERICA drum set percussion chimes. Each set is individually handcrafted using the finest materials available. Constructed with solid billet aluminum bars, this professional chime set has outstanding sound quality and the volume dynamics necessary for live performances, or studio work.  Containing high quality materials, there are 24 3/8" diameter solid 6061 T6 high tensile billet aluminum alloy bars, ranging in lengths from 4 9/16" to 6". The bars are a bright matt aluminum finish. They are suspended from an 16" long oil finish oak header bar, that has a 5/16" hole for mounting to a cymbal stand.

For shipping purposes,and to pass savings on to you, chime sets are sold with assembly required. You will receive: 1 Oak hardwood header bar, 24 solid chime bars, 29 fasteners (1 for each bar, plus 5 spares), and a set of instructions. You simply attach the bars with the provided fasteners, which takes only minutes.
