Ebay now requires that I accept only Paypal, or some other form of credit card, as payment for my auctions. As a Canadian seller it takes three or more days for a Paypal payment to clear to my bank account. Shipping Info: I will ship day after Paypal payment clears to my bank account, but for all buyer's information Canada Post is closed Saturdays and Sundays and long weekend statutory holidays. I will only use Canada Post for shipping. Canada Post uses modern, efficient and up to date methods to ship and whose workers are caring people. I do not charge a handling fee. My boxes and bubble wrap are mostly recycled. The following is copied from Ebay's information to Buyers. "When rating sellers on shipping time, rate the seller on the time it took them to mail the item, not the time it took you to receive the item. You shouldn't hold sellers responsible for delays in your mail services, international custom delays or for the time it took for your payment to clear." Shipping charges in Canada, regardless of weight, vary from Province to Province. Shipping charges in Canada include a fuel surcharge and GST that does not necessarily show up on postage shown on package. And for instance if a shipping charge to Ontario is 11.00 Cdn and if buyer is interested in purchasing other items from my site the shipping will stay at 11.00 up to 2 kilos depending on density (size) of package. Canada Post offers insurance for a 1.00 extra. There is no longer a flat International shipping charge. Shipping charges, which includes insurance, vary depending on what country you are in. Canada Post offers a flat rate for shipping charges to United States up to 2.2 lbs including insurance and I will state what the charges are for these weights in my auction, but charges over 1 kilo, 2.2 lbs, will vary from State to State. I do not charge a handling fee. If an item is damaged in transit to anywhere, because of my packaging, I offer a complete refund. This will include return shipping depending on circumstances.
