DUST JACKET    Shelf wear to corners, tiny stress lines to foreedges and gutters; edgewear to panels with several minute tears, nicks, and creases. Minor areas of soiling and scoring to panels. Small sticker remnant to foot of spine and minute chip to crown. Tiny area of tape staining to edges of both jacket flaps. NOT price clipped.
BOARDS    Bumping to corners and spine ends. Rubbing to edges of boards with areas of balding and fraying to cloth. Areas of soiling, scuffing, and staining to boards. Areas of tape remnants and stains to edges of boards.
BINDING    Cocked, cracked, and loose.
INTERNAL    Ex-library copy with typical markings found internally.
SPECIAL NOTES  

 A highly praised work of hard boiled noir that brings famed detective Lew Archer into the private lives of a sordid California family after their offshore oil platform leads to a devastating oil spill.
