This is a very unique set of vintage miniature pictures for the 12 Days of Christmas.  The box is stamped "Japan" on the bottom.

There is a picture for each of the 12 days.  They are made of a heavy cardboard, and each has a raised plastic section as part of the design.  For example, the two doves are plastic; one hen is plastic; one dancing lady is plastic, etc.  Unfortunately, the plastic piece is missing from the geese.....but one would never notice.

Each picture measures 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" and has a stand on the back so that they may be displayed one day at a time.  They have never been used since the "stands" are still flush to the pictures.  Day 6 (geese) was pulled out to photograph.

A wonderful vintage item for the holiday season!
