The New York Jets selected Mark Sanchez out of USC in the first round, 5th overall in the 2009 NFL Draft. Sanchez came to the Jets after a season at USC which saw Sanchez lead the Trojans to a 12-1 record. Sanchez threw for 3,207 Yards, 34 TDs and only 10 Int. With high hopes and high expectations, Sanchez got the Jets off to a fast start in his 2009 rookie season, leading them to a 2-0 start and a good start on the road toward to the Jets first playoff appearance since 2006.
